Use this application to:

• Add an endorsement to your Associate or Professional Educator License.

• Upgrade an associate-level endorsement to a professional-level endorsement.

• Complete an endorsement review when requested for an Associate Educator License (AEL) application for a Secondary or Career and Technical Education (CTE) license area.

• Request an endorsement competency evaluation for an Alternative Pathway to Professional Educator Licensing (APPEL) program.

You must hold a Utah Associate Educator License (AEL) or Professional Educator License (PEL) before an endorsement will be granted. 

• If you do not have a license from another state, use the Associate Educator License (AEL) application.

• If you have a license from another state or jurisdiction, use the License Equivalency Review application.
